Learning & Consistency
Did I learn anything from yesterday?
Today I dedicated focused time to the goals that are important to me. Could I do better? Yes. Was it a wasted day? Absolutely not.
If we define learning as “same conditions –> new behaviour”, then yesterday definitely taught me something.
But the true learning is not defined by one-off exceptions. It is defined by consistently exhibiting new behaviour over a long enough period of time.
It's good to celebrate small wins. But it is easy to overlook a bigger picture and fall back to the old patterns. Consistency is more important than the high of the quick win.
Keep up the good work. Every day. One day at a time.
